About Lady Charlotte


Lucy and Charlotte’s lifes were a succession of parties, trips, visits, feasts, balls, music, etc. But they were also witnesses of the industrial revolution and changes for instance in means of transport, but also the introduction of photography. Lucy and Charlotte were very interested in photography and eventually together owned a camera. They made pictures of their world. Some of their pictures still survive, in museums, archives, or private collections.
